Fuga Tours and Travel – Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking shall only be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as specified in the quotation or invoice issued by Fuga Tours and Travel.
2. Payments
- A deposit of 30%–50% may be required to secure reservations.
- Gorilla permits and other park permits must be paid in full at the time of booking due to strict wildlife authority regulations.
- Full payment for tours should be completed before the safari start date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure may receive a partial refund, less administrative and permit fees.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of travel may attract cancellation charges depending on supplier and accommodation policies.
- Gorilla permits are subject to the refund policies of the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and Rwanda Development Board (RDB).
4. Changes to Itinerary
Fuga Tours and Travel reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to weather conditions, government regulations, road conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances while ensuring comparable services where possible.
5. Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, travel insurance, and any other required travel documentation.
6. Travel Insurance
All travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, personal belongings, evacuation, and adventure activities.
7. Health and Fitness
Some safari activities, including gorilla trekking, require a reasonable level of physical fitness. Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for participation.
8. Liability
Fuga Tours and Travel acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers such as hotels, airlines, and transport companies. While we take every reasonable measure to ensure quality services, we shall not be held liable for delays, loss, injury, illness, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control.
9. Wildlife & Nature
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed as animals move freely in their natural habitats. Clients are expected to follow guide instructions and park regulations for safety and conservation purposes.
10. Client Conduct
Travelers are expected to behave respectfully toward local communities, wildlife, guides, and fellow travelers. Fuga Tours and Travel reserves the right to terminate a tour without refund in cases of dangerous or disruptive behavior.
11. Force Majeure
Fuga Tours and Travel shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, strikes, or border closures.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking, the client acknowledges acceptance of these terms and conditions.
