Day 1. Pick up from Entebbe or Kampala and transfer to Murchison
At your Hotel, our professional guide will meet you brief you about your 2 day Chimpanzee and Rhino trekking safari and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. This park is renowned for its roaring rapids and expansive plains, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalos, and elephants.
You’ll also be captivated by the large populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled by the park’s 450 bird species, including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf kingfisher, white-thighed hornbill, and the goliath heron.
En route to the park, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, followed by a late lunch at Kabalega Dinners Restaurant. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, you’ll first visit the top of the falls to witness one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls before heading to your lodge.

Day 2. Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest reserve and departure
After an early morning breakfast transfer to Budongo forest a head of your chimpanzee Trekking experience. On arrival meet with the 2-Day Uganda Chimpanzee trekking safari ranger guide from UWA to brief you about do’s and don’ts while you’ll be in presence of chimpanzees. You’ll then begin the trekking and once the chimpanzees have been found for you will drive back to your lodge take a cup of coffee and return back to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch-en-route marking the end of your 2 Day Chimpanzee and Rhino trekking safari
